The Classic security chain is the successor to the proven ACH 2.0 and features a newly designed oval loop ring. Its slimmer shape makes it particularly easy to thread the chain through spokes or narrow openings – for an even more convenient connection. Double protection: the pre-installed ring lock blocks the rear wheels of the bicycle but does not prevent the bike from being carried away. The connecting chain is the ideal addition to secure the bicycle to fixed objects such as lampposts or bike racks. For example, place the ADAPTOR CHAIN Classic around the lamppost and insert it into the extra lock housing of a compatible ring lock or the Alarmbox 2.0 – this way, the bicycle is doubly protected. No extra key is needed for the insert chain. The key of the ring lock opens and locks both components. The hardened steel insert chain has a textile cover to protect the bicycle from paint damage.
